Do you know the “Adopt-A-Street” program? Well, the Guardians have adopted the Westminster Hills Open Space Dog Off-Leash and Nature Area (aka the dog park)! This was done in partnership with the Westminster Parks, Recreation, and Library (PRL) Department.
Signs at each parking lot will go up in the next couple of months. Stay tuned for a small dedication ceremony.
Adopting the dog park allows us to organize our own clean-up events on large- and small-scales. If you and your friends want to organize your own small clean-up event, please let us know! We can coordinate with the City to ensure you have the necessary supplies (trash bags, etc.) available.
